The Association of Canadian Port Authorities (ACPA) is pleased that the Government of Canada has opened the $165 Million Green Shipping Corridors program to applications.  The program includes The Clean Ports Stream, which will provide funding to support the adoption of clean technology and infrastructure at ports and terminals.

As intermodal hubs for Canada’s energy and supply chains, ports are a key element of green shipping corridors and have led the way with electrification of port operations and innovative MOUs to export Canada’s fuels of the future.  This new funding will allow Canada’s ports to accelerate their sustainability and decarbonization initiatives.
