We fully endorse increased federal investment in additional resources for the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). While robust border security remains fundamental, it is equally important that these investments acknowledge the pivotal role of both sea and inland marine ports in expanding and diversifying Canada’s global trade. The creation of a more connected and competitive Canada relies on this foundation.
